think that I'm where God wants me to be, doing the things that God wants me to
do, giving me the energy to do what He wants me to do.

I sense He's there, He's with me. I'm not facing this alone. He's rejoicing in
what I'm doing.

He's watching where I'm going. He's right along with me everything I'm doing.
Now, that was the only feeling we had about this verse, but the truth of the
matter is there's times in our lives when we're not doing what God wants us to
do, when our hearts are filled with selfishness or sin, and because of that,
that verse is read very differently.

The Lord sees everything you do, and He watches where you go. Instead of feeling
a sense of glory, we feel a sense of guilt. Instead of feeling a sense of
excitement, we feel a sense of anxiety about this verse.

He watches everywhere I go. That makes me a bit nervous. There are times when we
think, Lord, could you look somewhere else right now?

And this verse then has the feel of, well, it's sort of that Santa Claus thing.
He knows whether you've been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake. Well,
the truth is, as you read this verse, God is always there.

He knows everything you've done, and He knows everywhere you're going. He knows
everything you're going to do. And on hearing that, some people feel massive
guilt, and they spend the rest of their lives trying to escape God's watchful
eye.

You can't escape the eye of God. He's always there. I've got some great news for
you today.

You don't have to live with that burden. God is a forgiving. God is a loving
God.

And the fact that He sees everything I do shows how important my life really is
to Him. He doesn't watch you to condemn you. He watches you to love you and to
strengthen you, to enable you to live a life of faith.

So live your life today with the knowledge that even if no one else notices, God
does. Even if no one else understands, God does. Even when no one else cares,
God certainly does.

And if your heart is filled with guilt, you feel like my life is filled with a
lot of things that I know I shouldn't be doing. Right now, bring those things to
Him and ask Him to change you. If you're not yet a believer in Jesus Christ, if
you haven't yet said to Jesus, "I need your forgiveness for the wrong things
I've done.

"I need your leadership in my life. " There's never been a moment where you
sense, "I've turned my life over to Him. "I've begun to trust Him for the kind
of life "that He made me to live.

" Trust Him right now. Say to Jesus Christ right now, "I trust you. "I trust you
for forgiveness.

"I trust you for leadership. " And I pray that I'd begin to hear these words of
hope, words of love, rather than words of guilt. Because I know you've forgiven
me and because I know you're helping me to live a new kind of life.

You're already a believer in Jesus Christ and yet you're living a life apart
from faith. Right now, say to Him, "Jesus Christ, "I want to begin to live in a
different way. "I want to begin to live out the faith "that you have put into my
life.

" To live out the newness that you've created for me. So I pray right now,
Jesus, not only that I would recognize the forgiveness that you've given me for
the wrong things that I've done, but that I would live based on that forgiveness
in your grace. And that I'd see these words, "You watch me everywhere I go.

"You see everything I do as words of hope. " I'd understand how truly important
my life is to you. Not because I'm prideful, but God, because I'm grateful that
you're a loving God.

Every life on this planet is important to you. And so in gratefulness, I praise
